The card includes vital statistics, allergies, insurance information, emergency contact, and a blanket waiver for medical treatment that is transferable to anyone caring for your child.
I already have an ID card for my child that includes a fingerprint. How is yours different?
Most ID cards only show law enforcement on the scene what your child looks like. Unless the information is digitally stored and can be transmitted through a computer system, it is essentially useless in recovering abducted children. SafetyNet4kids uses fingerprint technology recognized by the FBI and stores ALL of your child’s prints, not just one, along with photos and other vital information. If your child is missing, law enforcement officers can use the CD to transmit photos, fingerprints, and other vital information quickly to create a local, regional, or national alert.

The questionnaire contains a lot of personal information. Is the data secure?
Absolutely. Upon your request, SafetyNet4kids will return to you questionnaires you filled out and will not retain a copy of your child’s information. Otherwise, we securely maintain both physical and electronic copies that allow us quickly to replace a CD or Medical Waiver card in case one is lost or you want additional copies. In addition, when we retain the data, you easily can update your child’s information through our online system.
